Feel The Honda

Q1.The advertisement is effective because it show the performance of the car is very high quality by the sound effect cause by those choirs. The choir is making sound effect step by step according to the car performance in the advert. 1st they start the engine and making the sound softly and great. It show the break system support by abs break is very effective even in speeding.

The advertisement is different from other because they using sound effect instead of using words. They have created a new idea not like other advertisement is still using graphic or word represent their products needs. Even u close eyes u still can feel the sound effect of the Honda Civic performance greatly.

Business Plan

Business plan: BURGER JOINT

Details of business

We planning to start a business name Burger Joint which is a Public Limited Company food chain store and we provided franchise to those people who want to cooperate with us.

Personal details

Our shareholders contain 4 people which are Sam, Kim, Jenny and Yee. Sam is working at Keppel Singapore as Marketing Manager for 4 years before this, Kim is working at AIG Singapore as Financial Accounting Manager for 4 years, Jenny is working at Jusco AEON as Human Resources for 3 years and Yee is working at Company of BMW as Operational Manager for 3 years after than we decided to start a business name burger joint together.

Personnel

We’re going to hired about 25 workers in our headquarters shop. We prefer good manners workers, get along with customer and well communicate person. Skills are not acquirements for workers because we provide skills training for those novices in this field.
Besides that, we need 4 marketing skill workers to increase our sales and to understanding customers needs, need 1 financial skill workers to manage our account and we need 1 manage skills workers to helps us in management.

Product/Service

We are selling burger as our main food but we also provided snacks, coleslaw, low calories burger, vegetarian burger. We hope our workers could provide their best services to our consumers. We’re also providing standing bar and leather sofa to convenient our consumers. We will provide calories table and lectures to help our consumers for prevent fatting.

Market

We are targeting white-collar, student and shopaholic during their breakfast, lunch times, dinner and also supper for those who like midnight meal. We are also cooperating with petrol station to provide drive-thru services to target those working with car all the times. We are trying to leading market share with challenging McDonalds. Hope that when people think of burger and firstly will think our Burger Joint instead of McDonalds. We are facing some competitors such as Burger King, McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza and etc which is also selling fast food. Our food is suitable for everyone such as family time, workers, businessman, student and shopping customer and this is our advantages. Different way we having disadvantages too, as a fast food business we facing other competitor which effect customer that will choose the other fast food beside us.

Marketing

We going to use paper advertisement such as flyer and brochure paper to target those white-collar, family, boys and girls who shopping or pass by that near our chain store. We are also going to make a TV advertisement to raise our popularity so that everyone will know us.

Objective

We starting such a business is wish to change the image of fast food, because every people think that fast food is high calories food and we want to let every single customer feel that they can also keep slim their body even though they eating fast food every day. Beside of that, we also hope that we can bring joy to customer by giving the best services and smile. Every company start a business is to make profit, we are also the one of them. In the future day, we hope we can be the largest market share of fast food business which make customer think of us when they think of fast food.

As we know, burger is a world famous fast-food in the world. 6 out of 10 person in this world are choosing burger as their meal everyday. But nowaday people like to keep fit even they like to eat burger so much.

Because of this reason, we are going to hit the "Burger Joint" business to satisfy your passion to burger. Burger Joint is a fast-food chain's stores that are selling different type of burger included vegetarian burger. Consumer can also choose the ingredient they like for their own burger that will become an "Only" burger for them. Futhermore, we're not just selling burger.We are also selling french fries, nugget and other snacks in our burger joint
. Spinning table just like "sushi conveyor belt" and standing bar is used inside the Burger Joint. The reason why we using standing bar is to let customer to keep fit their body while they are enjoying the burger. 24hours business running, Drive-Thru can be found in any chain's stores and slot machine is available on many places which make consumer become easier and more convenient.

Burger Joint is mainly focus on white collar worker, businessman, teenagers, students and family.To expand our popularity, we are going to have TV advertisement, radio advertisement and also paper advertisement which can make us become more well-known.

Camparison between Malaysia and Singapore consumers

Today we gonna discuss about Singaporean and Malaysian.Firstly, we want to compare between the Singapore consumers and Malaysian. Singapore consumers are more comcerned with the environment. For example, usually they will bring the green bag to shopping for reduce using plastic bag due to the global warming. Malaysian don't bother much about the environment,they are more selfish that didn't care about the global problem and always using the plastic bag because it is easier and cheaper. Malaysian government should make a campaign to promote awareness of environment issues.

Secondly, people in Malaysia and Singapore have diffrerent views when they consume. Singapore are focused more in quality and services example air conditioner places...Although thier food not very tasty moreover it is more expensive but they attracted more Singaporean customer. They are more go for comfort. Conversely, Malaysian are more go for more relaxed, not bothered about those such things.
So those high class food restaurants are easier to survive in Singapore but in Malaysia is hard to survive.

Third, theirs mind. Singaporean are more open-minded? Ya,maybe.. Give an example, adult shop more varienty of outlets in Singapore, In Malaysia? Hardly to get any adults shop. In Malaysia, we can found that Malaysian minded are more traditional, when you go into the adult shop, and just take a look, maybe someone will looking at you in a very strange way. Due to the Malaysia culture,Malaysia is not permit to open adult shops. Singaporean are more open minded that can advertise cigarette,beer,and sex advertisment.In the Malaysia TV show, these advertisement are not allowed at all.
Lastly, Singaporean are competitive and band-conscious, they more prefer branded things. But Malaysian more like to buy pirated products, because they are cheaper price thing.
These are the examples when we compare between Malaysian and Singapore consumers.

Arthur Guinness started brewing ales from 1759 in Leixlip, then at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin, Ireland. On 31 December he signed (up to) a 9,000 year lease at £45 per annum for the unused brewery.Ten years later on 19 May 1769 Guinness exported his ale for the first time, when six and a half barrels were shipped to England. Guinness is sometimes believed to have originated the stout style of beer. However the first use of the word stout in relation to beer was in a letter in the Egerton Manuscript dated 1677, almost 50 years before Arthur Guinness was born. Arthur Guinness started selling the dark beer porter in 1778. The first Guinness beers to use the term were Single Stout and Double Stout in the 1840s. The breweries pioneered several quality control efforts. The brewery hired the statistician William Sealy Gosset in 1899, who achieved lasting fame under the pseudonym "Student" for techniques developed for Guinness, particularly Student's t-distribution and the even more commonly known Student's t-test. Guinness brewed their last porter in 1974. Guinness acquired the Distillers Company in 1986. The Company merged with Grand Metropolitan in 1997 to form Diageo plc. The Guinness brewery in Park Royal, London closed in 2005. The production of all Guinness sold in the UK and Ireland was switched to St. James's Gate Brewery Dublin.
